The Junior League of Lee County (JLLC) accepts new members during the spring and summer for the fall New Member Class. JLLC is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Our purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
Through membership in the Junior League of Lee County, you will:
- Receive practical hands on volunteer training. You will have a chance to explore different projects, fundraisers, leadership roles, interest groups and service opportunities.
- Belong to an international network of volunteers. Our league is a member of the Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. (www.ajli.org), an organization of 170,000 members in 293 leagues in United States, Canada, Mexico, and United Kingdom.
- Network and socialize with other women who are committed to making a difference in lives of Lee County’s children.
- Participate in childrens’ health and wellness activities that impact the quality of life of Lee County’s children. Our community placements provide a variety of opportunities for you to volunteer to impact the lives of Lee County’s children.
